Arkansas defensive back Brody Jones Commits to Cincinnati
Fayetteville (AR) defensive back Brody Jones has announced his commitment to Cincinnati following a successful trip to the Clifton campus for an official visit.
Jones chose the Bearcats over offers and interest from Memphis, North Texas, Tulane, and Tulsa, among others. The Arkansas native finished his junior season with 35 tackles, 4 TFL, 2 sacks, 3 INTs, and 7 pass breakups.
At 6'3" , Jones has the versatility and speed to slot in as either a cornerback or safety in the three-high look that Defensive Coordinator Tyson Veidt has implemented. On film, Jones shows good ball awareness, as well as play recognition, and an ability to get downhill in a hurry to make a tackle or lay a big hit.
