Cincinnati Basketball Schedule Updates

The Big 12 Conference announced its men's basketball home and away opponents for the 2025-26 season on Thursday afternoon. After a season where each team played 20 league games, which was widely unpopular amongst Big 12 coaches, the league returns to an 18-game conference schedule for the 2025-26 season.

The home portion of the schedule features games against Houston, Iowa State, BYU, and Baylor. Other home games include Colorado, Oklahoma State, UCF, and West Virginia. UC's three home-and-home opponents this season are Houston, UCF and West Virginia.

Cincinnati's away-only opponents are Arizona, Arizona State, Kansas, Texas Tech, TCU and Kansas State. The Bearcats have never faced the Wildcats in Tucson. The trip to face the Sun Devils in Tempe will be the program's first since 1973––an 88-78 defeat.

CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein also reported Thursday that Cincinnati and Dayton are close to finalizing a home-and-home deal that would begin at Fifth Third Arena this season, with the return game to Dayton being during the 2026-27 season.

Cincinnati is also scheduled to begin a two-year neutral site series with Louisville this season with the first game being held at Heritage Bank Center, while the return game would be held at Freedom Hall during the 2026-27 season.
