Defensive Lineman Jonathan Rulo Commits to Cincinnati
Cincinnati received the commitment from Belleville East High School standout defensive lineman Jonathan Rulo.
Rulo chose the Bearcats over other offers from Kansas State and Iowa, among others, after visiting the Clifton campus two weekends ago. At 6'2" 285 pounds, Rulo is also a state and national champion wrestler.
On film, the wrestling traits are easily noticed when it comes to hand placement and ability to shed blockers with a quick first step and good footwork. Rulo has a good combination of both speed and power, making him the ideal fit as a high impact interior defensive lineman.
Rulo joins Jeremiah Gray, Darrius Simmons, and Lance Dawson in UC's 2026 class along the defensive line.
