Needing a change of scenery, Miller decided to transfer to Florida Atlantic.
During his one season with the Owls, Miller finally showed the type of potential that he has, averaging 11.3 pts, 7.0 rbs, 2.7 ast, and 1.7 blocks per game. Miller was efficient from the floor, shooting 48.6% from the floor for the season and also knocked down 39-of-114 attempts from deep. Miller had five double-doubles during his one season with Florida Atlantic.
The Spain native's career accolades include being named the 2023-24 ACC Breakout Player (College Hoops Today), AAC Second Team All-Conference (2024-25), as well as winning a World Championship at the 2023 FIBA U-19 Basketball World Cup.
Miller brings a unique skill set and ability to the Cincinnati roster. At 6'11" , Miller has a 7"2" wingspan which allows him to affect the game at both ends of the court with his athletic ability. Paired with 7'2" Moustapha Thiam (UCF transfer), Wes Miller's front court has the potential to be elite defensively around the rim. More importantly, both have proven to be good passers, which should help open up the offense more.
