Jalen Haynes Out Indefinitely

Cincinnati Athletics announced Tuesday afternoon that Jalen Haynes, a graduate forward on the Cincinnati men’s basketball team, has been ruled out indefinitely with an undisclosed lower body injury.

Haynes was an All-Atlantic 10 First Team selection last year at George Mason after averaging 14.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. For his career, the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., native has averaged 12.7 points and six boards per contest between stops at Virginia Tech, East Tennessee State and last year with the Patriots.

The Bearcats will play exhibitions at Michigan at 6 p.m. Friday and at Arkansas Oct. 24, then open the regular season against Western Carolina at 7 p.m. Nov. 3 at Fifth Third Arena.
