Local linebacker Adam Kirtley commits to UC

UC has tapped into the local pipeline, landing Taft linebacker Adam Kirtley following his official visit this past weekend. 

 

Kirtley chose the Bearcats other offers and interest from Buffalo, James Madison, Liberty, and Marshall, among others. 

 

The Cincinnati native finished his junior season with 155 tackles and 24 tackles for loss. At 6'1", 215 pounds, Kirtley plays with a noticeable aggression as well as speed, consistently flying to the ball to seek contact. Kirtley's field and play awareness allow him to make plays sideline to sideline, as well as in the backfield. 

 

With the commitment, UC now sits at eight defensive commitments in the 2026 recruiting class.
