Report: Crosstown Shootout Date Set
Earlier today, CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein reported the annual Crosstown Shootout will be played Friday December 5th at Cintas Center, home of the Xavier Musketeers.

The Bearcats ended their five-game losing streak to Xavier last season, defeating the Musketeers inside Fifth Third Arena, 68-65.
UC will look to win inside Cintas Center for the first time since 2001.
Last week, sources also confirmed that UC is in the process of finalizing to begin a two-year series against old rival, Louisville.
Game one would take place in 2025 at Heritage Bank Center, with the return game being played in Louisville at Freedom Hall. The two programs last met in 2022 in the Maui Invitational, an 81-62 Cincinnati victory.
Louisville leads the all-time series, 53-44. Cincinnati has won five of the last eight meetings.
