An Ohio native and product of St. Vincent–St. Mary High School, Harris appeared in 31 games during the 2025–26 season, making eight starts and averaging 16.9 minutes per contest. He posted 5.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game while leading the Bearcats with 1.2 steals per outing, reinforcing his reputation as a defensive-minded guard.
While his offensive production was inconsistent, Harris showed flashes throughout the season. He recorded five double-figure scoring performances, including 12-point efforts against Iowa State and Kansas State. He also contributed across the stat sheet in several games, highlighted by eight points, five rebounds and two assists against Dayton, and 12 points with five assists versus NJIT.
Defense has long been Harris’ calling card. Prior to his time at Cincinnati, he spent the 2024–25 season with West Virginia, where he earned All-Big 12 Defensive Team honors. That season, he started all 32 games and averaged 5.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.7 steals per game, consistently impacting games on the defensive end.
Harris began his collegiate career with the Illinois Fighting Illini, spending two seasons in the program before transferring to West Virginia and later Cincinnati.
His departure makes him the fourth Bearcat to enter the transfer portal this afternoon, joining Shon Abaev, Moustapha Thiam, and Keyshuan Tillery.
With experience across three major programs and a proven defensive track record, Harris is expected to draw interest in the portal as teams look to add a perimeter defender with high-level experience.
