Cincinnati Lands Commitment from Alabama Defensive End Keegan Horn
The University of Cincinnati added a key piece to its 2026 recruiting class over the weekend, securing a commitment from Hueytown (AL) defensive end Keegan Horn.
Horn, who visited UC’s campus on June 6, chose the Bearcats over several other offers, including Tulane, West Virginia, and Wake Forest.
Standing at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, Horn brings significant positional versatility and fits well within defensive coordinator Tyson Veidt’s 3-5-3 scheme. On film, the Alabama native displays both speed and power off the edge, consistently making plays from sideline to sideline. He has shown the ability to be effective both as a traditional defensive end and as a stand-up linebacker, adding flexibility to the Bearcats’ defensive front.
Horn becomes the fourth defensive line commit in Cincinnati’s 2026 class, joining Lance Dawson, Jeremiah Gray, and Jonathon Rulo.
Bearcat Sports Hub caught up with Horn following his commitment to discuss his recruitment and the factors that led him to shut down his process in favor of joining the Bearcats.
